We're a little late with this issue but we have a lot of updates, including the return of RTIXCEL, new video capabilities for the KA8, KA11, and RTiPanel, plus a reminder of the "Deep Dive" webinar series, a special outdoor entertainment discount, CEDIA registrations and more. Let's get started!

We appreciate your patience as we moved the RTIXCEL training curriculum and related modules to a new hosting platform. The training site is live, and the link from the Dealer Site menu is active. You may notice some subtle differences in the way your progress is tracked, so please log in and take a look around.

Firmware Updates Enable RTSP Support

We have released firmware updates for the KA8 and KA11, RTiPanel App updates for iOS and Android, and supporting APEX and ID9 updates. The main addition is support for video streaming from cameras that use the RTSP protocol with h.264 compression. Download at the RTI Dealer Site.

New KNX Support 

The new KNX driver supports the KNX UDP tunneling protocol with a single IP gateway - Multiple KNX lines or a single IP gateway - a single KNX line. The new Driver supports the following functionality and more: Switching, Dimming, Shades, Temperature, Dali Protocol Dimming, Dali Protocol Tunable.

Updated Kaleidescape 

The Kaleidescape has been updated to include newer, higher resolution metadata, and to support an expanded number of UI screens, including the Kaleidescape Movie Store.

Video Product Sunsetting

We have sunset the VHP-1x, VHT-1x, and VHR-1x. Product information has been moved to the legacy section of the website. The replacement product is the 4K HDBaseT™ Extender Kit, the VEX100-18G-KIT.

We have also discontinued the VDX-14x video splitter and the VDM-1x Downscaler. Neither product has a direct replacement. 

CEDIA Expo - Free Registration

The show is in Indianapolis this year, going forward with COVID-19 protocols in place. RTI will be in booth #5644 highlighting RTI and Pro Control solutions, Plus, we'll have a second booth (#4446) introducing Blustream to the US CEDIA market. Stay tuned for more info on the show.
