KA8 and KA11 Now Support VoIP and SIP Intercom

The KA8 and the flagship KA11 touchpanels now support VoIP.  To enable this within your systems, please be sure you are using the latest version of the Apex software and download the latest firmware for the touchpanels.

VoIP NOTES:

  • VoIP features in this version are only supported for contacting external SIP devices (such as 3rd party door stations from 2N, Doorbird, Holovision and SIP based models)
  • A Zip file includes the firmware, readme file, a technical note and sample APEX program that shows how to configure the VoIP features
  • Please refer to the readme file in the Zip file for a complete list of changes included in this version.

NOTE: The VoIP support cannot be used to make calls between multiple KA8 or KA11 units
