Lexicon DD-8+ Network Amplifier Driver - v1.0

This driver controls the Lexicon DD-8+ Network Amplifier. The DD-8+ is an advanced multi-channel amplifier with network controlled matrix routing and multi-channel digital signal processing (DSP).

Version History

1.0 The original release of the driver.

Dynamic Naming:

With this driver you have the ability to dynamically name Device Name, Presets 1 - 3, Channel Names, all Input Names and, all Output Names. However, no name will load to the device if they are longer than 12 characters. It is also advised that Channel Names stay short and simple (e.i. 'A, B, C,...' or 'Ch A, Ch B,...' etc.) if changed at all. Any and all legitimate names (12 characters or less) will be loaded to the device from the driver configuration on initial system boot.

Channel Pairing:

Channels can be paired together through either the web interface for the DD-8p Amplifier or through the configuration process of this driver. In either case, you are limited to pairing the first, second, third, and four sets of channels. For example, you can pair channels A and B, or G and H, but you cannot pair channels B and C together (channel C has to be paired with channel D).

Once a set of channels are paired together. The fist of the channels will set the main volume and muting for both channels. The second channel of a pair will have no impact on either of these commands.
